Green Quinoa Turkey Chili
Ingredients:
3 lb fresh tomatoes
1 lb fresh tomatillos
1 large white onion
1 large green bell pepper
5 medium jalapeno peppers
10 oz quinoa
3 lbs ground turkey
20 oz green enchilada sauce
1.5 oz Worcestershire sauce
4 Tbsp chili powder
2 Tbsp garlic powder
2 Tbsp black pepper
Directions:
1) Chop tomatoes, tomatillos, and jalapenos in a food process until it reaches a salsa consistency. Pour into a crock pot on high.
2) Dice green bell pepper and white onion. Put into crock pot.
3) Brown ground turkey. Put into crock pot.
4) Put remaining ingredients in crock pot.
When liquid starts to bubble, turn to low or warm until ready to eat.
